Sam graduated from CU Boulder in 2013 with a major in environmental geoscience and a minor in philosophy. His focus in geology includes glaciology, climatology, and hydrogeology. Sam has been working as an instructor for the Northwest Outward Bound School for the past two years and plans to return for the upcoming season this summer. In his free time, Sam enjoys rock climbing, mountain biking, backpacking, rafting, reading, and backgammon.
